Yon Loader is a recording project led by James Stuteley (he/him). Papaiti released two singles in 2023; the album is due out in 2024.

The project weaves together many elements and talents of Aotearoa indie and emo. Used to sitting behind the drum kit in Carb on Carb, James takes the reins in Yon Loader, composing the core of the song before fleshing it out with help from his 6 rotating collaborators (including members of Recitals, Welcomer, For Everest, Model Home, Fouler, First Move, Bad Friend), and key engineer/producer Harry Lilley.
